Trees of the Forest
I’ve recently finished up a new piece of art and I am ready to share it with you as a Christmas greeting card!
It’s entitled Trees of the Forest and would make the perfect Christmas card to send tranquility vibes to your loved ones this year. The artwork features a soft and serene setting to infuse your holidays with peace while exuding the joy of the season.
I was inspired several months ago to create the art while reading Psalm 96, specifically verses 11-13:
Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice;
let the sea and what fills it resound;
let the plains be joyful and all that is in them!
Then shall all the trees of the forest exult before the Lord, for he comes;
for he comes to rule the earth.
He shall rule the world with justice and the peoples with his constancy.
I immediately drew out sketches, inspired in the moment. But it took me a couple of months to play with creating the actual art. But the more I worked on it, the more I loved it. I hope you love it too!
Each of the packages of cards comes with 10 cards and 10 lined envelopes. I created the pattern for the liners as well, inspired by lettering I created for the art. I ended up not using the lettering but pulled part of the design to create the liner pattern.
If you order a package you can choose to leave the interior of the cards blank, or have them arrive on your doorstep with your own custom message printed on the inside.
