"Vinca" Original Art
I can’t believe I’m doing this, but I’ve decided to have a special giveaway in celebration of the public release of the new Awakenings Collection.
“Vinca” was the last drawing I created for this collection. Here in the southern US, we find vinca often and their pretty purple flowers pop up in early spring. I love vinca because despite the soil conditions, the shade, and what else is growing around it, it seems to always fight back with it’s pretty flowers in the spring. We have it in places where other things wouldn’t grow and where we don’t have to think too much about the landscaping. So it’s always a lovely surprise when they flower. I knew I had to include it when mine began showing. Once I finished it, I knew the collection was complete, so it has a special place in my heart as the final piece.
